I gaze up in adorationHis chariot bypasses my prayers like it does
every day.
I am rooted, yellow, sick green with love for
A God who is blind, deaf and unfeeling.
He has punished me to forever lay garlands of broadly
Welcoming gamboge petals at his clay cast toes,
Removing me from the water to seed me in the earth
With the perishables to wilt and whither then start again.
I am rooted and remain gazing up at the sun
Waiting in vain for
A God who is blind, deaf and unfeeling.
